The professionals of Dr. Schmidt-Wilke + Partner are auditors and tax consultants, members of the corresponding professional chambers and all authorised in Germany. They are subject to the respective professional law provisions.
The tax consultants are members of the regional tax consultant chambers and authorised by the relevant Ministries of Finance of the Federal states of Lower Saxony. The profession of tax consultant is essentially subject to the following provisions:
- Tax consulting act (StBerG)
- By-law on the tax consulting act (DVStB)
- Tax consultant's fees regulation (StBGebV)
- Professional rules (BOStB)
The professional regulations can be viewed at the relevant tax consultant chambers for Lower Saxony. They are also available on the homepage of the Federal chamber of tax consultants (Bundessteuerberaterkammer).
The auditors are members of the chamber of auditors and authorised by the Ministry of Economics of Lower Saxony. The profession of auditors is essentially subject to the following rules:
- Auditor rules (Public Accountants Act WPO)
- Professional by-laws for auditors (vBP; BS WP/vBP)
- Professional liability regulation for auditors(WPBHV)
All orders accepted are subject to the general terms and conditions for auditors and auditing companies as amended by the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer e. V., Berlin, (IdW – Institute of Auditors) (as of 01 January 2002). German law shall apply. Place of jurisdiction shall be Hanover. Professional liability insurance as required by law has been taken out with HDI Gerling.
